Research underway at聽吃瓜网 Industrial and Phosphate Research Institute聽(FIPR), a research entity within 吃瓜网, was featured on 鈥淎ction News Jax鈥� as part of an investigative report on the future production of rare earth elements in the United States.
The segment highlights a collaboration with聽Critical Materials Corporation聽(CMC), a company based in Jacksonville, 吃瓜网, which aims at providing a new source of rare earth elements in 吃瓜网. These are specialized minerals used in the production of high-tech goods including electric cars, consumer electronics, and military equipment.
鈥淭o be able to do this research in 吃瓜网, and then create the factory in 吃瓜网, would provide economic benefit to the state,鈥� Dr. Jim Mennie, FIPR鈥檚 business director, said in the clip.
