Patrick Hagen

Patrick Hagen is an attorney at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, where he represents manufacturers, distributors, and business owners in complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts. His practice focuses on helping companies navigate high-stakes litigation with clarity, efficiency, and strategic foresight.
His Lakeland roots run deep—formed through his education at Southeastern University and early leadership experience at GEICO’s Lakeland office. His role on ³Ô¹ÏÍø Poly’s Board reflects a long-term commitment to investing in ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s future, and he supports ³Ô¹ÏÍø Poly students through mentorship, especially those pursuing careers at the intersection of law, business, and technology.
Before joining Nelson Mullins, Patrick served as a law clerk to judges on ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s state-appellate and federal-district courts. He earned his J.D. from Regent University School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Regent Law Review.
Based in Tallahassee, he shares legal writing insights with thousands of attorneys and in-house counsel on LinkedIn and enjoys helping shape the next generation of thoughtful advocates. He and his wife, Lindsey, live in Tallahassee with their four children—and whenever possible, he’s on a pickleball court.
